We are looking for an Employee Relations Manager with strong HR experience, including expertise in Employee Relations. The ideal candidate will manage performance issues, disciplinary actions, terminations, investigations, and provide guidance on employee-management relations. Fluency in both written and spoken English is essential for this role, as you will work with French teams daily and report to an English-speaking manager. Please submit your CV in English.


About the Role:The Employee Relations Manager provides advice and support to managers and employees on a range of employee relations and performance management matters. You will play a key role in fostering a positive work environment and managing employee-employer relations risks.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Support: Collaborate with managers by offering guidance on employee relations, performance management, and interpreting company policies.

  • Advice and Guidance: Provide confidential advice on employee relations issues, ensuring fairness for all parties involved.

  • Documentation and Recommendations: Assist with drafting corrective action plans, performance improvement documents, and termination letters.

  • Risk Analysis: Identify legal/compliance risks in employment situations and recommend solutions for complex cases (e.g., terminations, investigations, medical accommodations).

  • Legal Knowledge: Stay up to date on labor laws and emerging trends.

  • Internal Investigations: Lead internal investigations, document findings, and provide recommendations to management.

  • Training: Work with the Global Learning team to develop and implement training programs on manager effectiveness and HR compliance.

  • Performance Reviews: Support managers and HR functions during the annual performance evaluation process.

  • Trend Analysis: Monitor employee relations trends to proactively address issues and develop solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s degree in HR, labor law, or psychology is preferred.

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in employee relations, handling complex and sensitive cases like performance management, disciplinary actions, and terminations.

  • Labor Law Knowledge: Strong understanding of French labor laws.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities and sound judgment based on policies, procedures, risk factors, and precedents.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and active listening skills, with the ability to inspire trust and influence decision-making.

  • Language: Fluent in English and Frence
