Role:

As the Outbound Team Leader, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Outbound team within the logistics process. Your primary focus will be on organizing workloads, building a strong team, and fostering individual development through training and coaching. You will also be responsible for tracking and reporting on Outbound Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders. This role reports directly to the Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Warehouse Planning team to determine Outbound planning and prioritization.

• Supervise resource allocation and workload balance, working closely with the Resourcing & Training Specialist and the Operations Manager.

• Conduct daily follow-ups with Outbound Senior Operators regarding planned shipments and related processes.

• Serve as a backup for the Outbound Senior Operator as needed.

• Engage with team members on performance and development, ensuring personalized development plans for key operational talents.

• Act as the primary contact for team members on people management issues and escalate matters to appropriate stakeholders as necessary.

• Manage the Performance Management Process, including collecting feedback, writing evaluations, and conducting performance reviews.

• Participate in regular planning, operational, and coordination meetings.

• Prepare for qualitative Shift Start-Up meetings and loop feedback/questions to the appropriate stakeholders.

About You:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

• Proven experience in logistics and warehouse planning.

• Proficient in Dutch and English.

• Good knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Reach truck certification is a plus.

• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

• Knowledge of operational procedures and working instructions.

• Continuous improvement mindset.

• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
